Brackish Water Desalination

Cost-effective removal of dissolved salts from brackish groundwater and surface water sources for potable and agricultural use.

Desalination

Unlocking Brackish Water Resources

Brackish water — with salinity levels between fresh water and seawater — represents a vast untapped resource in many arid and semi-arid regions. Our brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) systems efficiently convert this resource into high-quality drinking water or irrigation water at significantly lower energy costs than seawater desalination.

System Features

High Recovery Rates

Our BWRO systems achieve recovery rates of 75–90%, maximising water output and minimising concentrate disposal requirements.

Energy Efficient

Operating at pressures of 10–25 bar, brackish water RO consumes significantly less energy than seawater systems — typically 0.5–1.5 kWh per cubic metre.

Flexible Capacity

Systems available from small containerised units (50 m³/day) to large-scale plants exceeding 50,000 m³/day.

Anti-Scaling Technology

Advanced anti-scalant dosing and membrane cleaning systems ensure long membrane life and consistent performance even with challenging feed water.
