Municipal Drinking Water

Aqua Engineering has constructed many municipal drinking water plants from containerized scale to large stationary scale in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and predominantly China.

The processes employed ranged from conventional processes up to advanced processes using DAF, slow sand filtration and membrane filtration to guarantee the appropriate technical solution for the site specific raw water quality, tailored to given drinking water directives in place.

Plants delivered range from 1.000 m3/d up to 400.000 m3/day and have been successfully delivered under EPC or M&E turnkey project contracts to mainly governmental customers.

Over time, Aqua Engineering has successfully delivered close to 50 plants of partly containerized and mainly stationary design with a total capacity of over 3.000.000 m3/d of purified drinking water production. The largest plant capacities installed are in China at Shantou with 400.000 m3/d production.
