At a Glance
Aqua Engineering has been building turnkey water treatment plants for over 50 years and has been able to expand its business activities from Austria into Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, East and South East Asia over time.
Aqua Engineering has started as a engineering firm and soon developed into an EPC contractor for turnkey water treatment systems in the field of industrial water processing, conventional & advanced municipal drinking water, Sewage treatment plants and membrane desalination systems for saline water and seawater.
First experiences with membrane based desalination was made back in 1986 and the first major contract in seawater desalination was received from Abu Dhabi WED back in 1988, marking also the beginning of a success story in desalination in the Gulf Region and particularly in the United Arab Emirates.
Many turnkey municipal water systems were successfully delivered using various processes with the majority of such plants supplied to City water works in China, combined with financing, as well as Eastern European cities.
After being part of Canadian based OVIVO Water Group, Aqua Engineering today is independent again under its original brand name and supported now by its UAE based parent company Aqua Engineering LLC.
